King Solomon M.B. Church's Summer Outreach Ministry

Honors Yazoo City Police Department

On July 16, 2025, The Social Media Ministry & IT/Tech Solutions Consultant Group of King Solomon M.B. Church concluded its Summer Outreach Ministry with a heartfelt gesture of appreciation for the Yazoo City Police Department. The initiative, aptly named “Popsicles for First Responders,” is part of the church's broader outreach ministry aimed at introducing individuals to Jesus Christ and inviting them to join worship services.

This Summer, the church's members extended their gratitude by offering refreshing popsicles to the police department, providing a cool treat on a hot day. The initiative not only serves as a token of appreciation but also fosters a sense of community and support for those who serve and protect.

Looking ahead, the church plans to extend this act of kindness to other local first responders, including the Yazoo City and County Fire Departments and the emergency medical team of Paramedics, during the Fall and Winter seasons.

In a photo taken with the Yazoo County Sheriff's Department, church members Joshua Winters, Shumiracle Kirkland, and Mother Pamela Wilson are highlighted, symbolizing the church's commitment to community engagement and appreciation.

This initiative highlights the church's dedication to building strong community ties and showing gratitude to those who work tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of the community.

Community Outreach: A Day of Devotion at Yazoo Health and Rehab

The Social Media Ministry & IT/Technological Consultant Group brought joy and spiritual upliftment to the residents of Yazoo Health and Rehab on March 9, 2025. The group organized a heartfelt devotional service, providing the residents with a familiar scripture, Psalm 23. The atmosphere was filled with songs of praise and heartfelt prayers, creating a sense of community and spiritual connection.

The event was a testament to the power of faith and the importance of community support. The residents, many of whom have limited opportunities for social interaction, were visibly moved by the service. The familiar words of Psalm 23 resonated deeply, offering comfort and reassurance.

The Social Media Ministry & IT/Technological Consultant Group's initiative highlights the positive impact that community organizations can have on the lives of those in care facilities. Their dedication to serving others and spreading positivity is truly commendable.
